Honestly, I'll believe it won't be "WoW in Spaceships" when I actually see it. Everything I've read leads me to believe that they're getting the small details right and missing the big picture with regards to what makes Star Trek what it is.

I hope they do use the M in MMO and not just a ship combat game.... I hope you can exit the ship and go on away missions

STO....hmmm,

If you lose targeting, will you be able to switch to manual firing? will there be collision? (the answer should be yes) can hundreds fight in a lagless battle? will line of sight affect tactics?

Will there even be los? will weapons resolution and ship flight characteristics be like the simple example of EVE or actually allow use of tactics and ship size and maneuverability? (sorry evies, speed tanking is a joke, like most of the combat in EVE)

Alot of questions and absolutely no solid answers. Though it does look "perty".

What would be wrong with Star Trek taking a lot of aspects of WOW? I really like WOW and others do as well. If they adopt some of the features that make WOW accesible, and easy to get into I'll play it.
