ArenaNet's Linsey Murdock speaks out on recent Guild Wars update

Yeah yeah the update was ok and all, But we want some Guildwars 2 news please....

I absolutely *love* Guild Wars, but in my opinion, this update was a real yawner. Guild Wars is suffering from the lack of new content. Sweeping changes to faction and rep grinding is just not going to cut it for me.

I had really hoped the "big update" was going to add some real zip to the game. ANet could do that by allowing players to use more heroes -- the game's customizable NPC sidekicks -- at a time (not likely to happen), by allowing players to take full NPC teams into elite areas, or by adding a bit of new content (even less likely to happen).

Instead, I can now get titles (snore) and reputation (yeah, right) faster than before? What??? Zzzzz...

I appreciate the time that went into this update, and the changes are basically good ones--just not good enough to bring me back to the game.

Not to be a jerk, but Factions was the second chapter. Prophecies came first.

This is pretty much agreed by so many.
No one cares about GW much anymore.
GW2 news is paramount to NCSoft and Arena.Net not becoming has been's with a business wallowing in lost subscribers and closed games.

Lose the flack, forget the old game for now, and get on the job guys.
