Contribution is bad. Like other posters said, I've been there actively killing npc's, players, doors, and the keep lord. But somehow I rank 20th to 45th most of the time, while people who did nothing or showed up at the last minute got a loot bag.

The system is screwed up big time.

The contribution system does work for public quests, as its based on the amount of influence you generate through the PQ. Influence is easy to see when your influence bar is low and you get it. When your bar is full its hard to measure it since you don't see how much you are getting. A key detail that many don't get is that killing a mob for 100 influence solo is 100 influence to that person. In a group of 5 its only 20 influence per mob. A solo person doting everything is going to earn more influence over time then a group or players or a warband. I have tested this in many non RVR PQ and its has matched up.

Now with RVR PQ its different, I haven't been able to make sense of it. There definitely seems like there is a bug there.

I haven't noticed this issue, but then I'm not gear/loot oriented so probably would not unless it was truly blatant.

What would be nice for those that do rvr that successfully defend keeps for more than a minimum time to get some sort of reward, other than an attaboy .
