FFXI announces three new expansions coming next year

Though I see the last expansion, now a year old, still going nowhere and will likely be dropped off a cliff suddenly in the upcoming update in december, Im happy to see some content being released for the original world.

Nothing has happened in Vanadiel in years.. its about time.

I can't wait to get these expansions. FFXI has the best story elements in all of the MMO's. Chains of Promathia, while very challenging, had an amazing story.

I love this mmo, because they are always releasing new content, new game mechanics, while still making every accomplisment more rewarding than other mmo's.

I really can't wait for the Shantoto storyline...that's gonna rock.

Whats the point in launching three expansions in one year other than sucking money of the customers? Could just put all the content in one... Oo

WoW sucks...WAR sucks...they all suck except FFXI. It is actually considerably time consuming and hard (the things I look for in a MMO). I want the game to be so freaking extensive and difficult so that I dedicate the time I spend playing it. Say what you haters, however, this game is a TRUE MMO.

If FFXI being different means certain people cannot hang, or the masses generally dislike it...who cares? I say, go and play your crappy "we all use the same graphics engine and basic WoW gameplay" MMO.

Oh and btw, FFXI hates you more than you hate it.
