I can't wait to look around Befallen again and visit my old haunts from EQ...I wish they had gone this way from the start and given us re-vamped content from EQ from day one of EQII rather then new content with old names.

I was really looking forward to running around in EC with new spanking graphics..alas it was not to be..however the last few updates ar starting to make EQII how it should have been 4 years ago...it's a superb game now and can only get better!!

Unfortunately no.

LOTRO feels more like old Everquest for me than the EQ2 version. So I will be playing LOTRO for the unforeseeable future.

I STILL think that re-launching classic EQ with updated graphics, improved questing, improved grouping/raiding could be a very formidable factor in the MMO market today.

You could even just go along the same expansion model as the old version and make better improvements along the way. Just make all current classes and races available from the start.

If I can find the time I will definitely be exploring EQ2s newest expansion. The mission system sounds great for those of us who cant farm every night, and I can bring my alts in at 50.

I really wish word would get out there about the innovation of EQ2 over the past few years. Guild halls, player housing, Guild leveling, looking for guild feature, looking for group, consignment, travel, zone size, engine performance, and soon a new map system. Not to mention a great starting city (neriak) without an expansion.

EQ2 has held my attention for years due to its attention to detail. It offers more depth for fantasy MMOs than others I have tried.

Also, I look forward to using Possess essence on a cool void beast!
