Tateru, so very nice of you to mention us at Global Kids! We'd certainly love $10K to do some project that "elevated the human condition." That's what we're all about.

seems a pretty weak "prize" and amazing that Linden didn't up it's value in the months since it was announced. I wonder what exchange rate they gonna give the money at? the buy or the sell rate? and is it net of their commissions?

I suppose my suggestion of removing pornography from the grid is not gonna place too high.

also worth noting that applicants must leave their build up inworld from 15 Jan to 30 April on a parcel at their cost. Is another way to keep people on the grid?

Seems a bit backwards? Why not give the winner money to make their proposal? Isn't the lack of resources kinda the point of why people need a prize?

and haha that $10,000 worth of lindens means "The Linden Prize will be the largest vendor-sponsored award in the virtual world industry." Bunch of cheapo hippies and geeks in Mill Valley afterall.
