I'm a D&D player from way back.
D&D, AD&D,AD&D2nd, the SSI games, 3rd edition, NWN, DDObeta. Played DDO for about a month until I realized none of my friends would join me. Then I realized I'd never play with them anyway since they are still WoW addicts. So I'm looking to join again.
I've been looking for an excuse to resub since they introduced the Monk class, and am in desperate need of a new MMO.

I Beta Tested DDO. But i found it to be lacking content. There really wasn't much to it at all. I know it has come a long way since then, and i have been meaning to give it another try.
I have played D&D table top for many years and own pretty much every D&D PC game out there.

MAN! Do I have stories about DnD, I've played almost every version, 3.5 is the way to go though... Many nights have been taken up in my friends basement with that game.... I've played DDO a little and would love to play it more! With free time that would make it financially possible being in college and all. Thanks for this post brings back lots of memories even if I don't win!

I've played DDO and I've also played regular D&D. I enjoyed DDO quite abit, but couldn't convince any of my RL friends to give up WoW and try it. *sigh*

I have played PnP DnD and (saddly) after my group broke up, I looked for of a more virtual touch of the DnD experience (because imagining beheading a orc is fun, but seeing it is even better) so I found Never Winter Nights (great game), and while searching for mods for that game I found DDO; which I played for a while but due to life (read: starting college and thus emptying my bank account) I have been unable to play.
