So hard to choose but though I don't share a similar biography with Daredevil, I did have a severe visual impairment in both eyes until recent cornea transplants which have been a blessed success. The fantasy of being entirely blind but still a super hero was wonderful to entertain.
I love CoH/CoV ~ it includes player creativity and individual expression as a playstyle which is just awesome.
My actual favorite superhero is one of my own that I have on Virtue, of course! Oddly enough she is visually impaired as well, but can "see" courtesy of some Freakshow tech implanted by a back-alley Vahzilok surgeon.

Favorite superhero? Probably Static, from Milestone comics. (I hear they're bringing him back over at DC comics. I hope they don't mess him up...)
