The speed of the game was what I liked about it. It was SO much faster then most MMOs.
Also the fact nothing was player bound, but I think that changed. :(

The best thing about Tabula Rasa is the people i play with in my clan and the GM and Dev's. They all put such heart and soul into the game that you can't help but love playing.

When I played Tabula Rasa I was blown away by the bases that I had to help defend or run the risk of having the Bane take them over. I also loved the idea of ethical parables and that is what I used to convince 3 of my friends to join TR. They still need to work on that part of the game but it proves to me they really have something special going.

Shotguns. Triple-Barreled Incendiary Shotguns. All the characters on one account sharing the same name, footlocker, friends list, etc.. Smart tactics making a considerable difference in difficult combats while simultaneously allowing for all out gung-ho gunslinging and mayhem to save your butt when it counts. TR is a great game, just needs a little more depth in the RP part of MMORPG.

Haven't played Tabula since it first came out. But the new changes to the game make me want to return.

Same here. I left in Febuary after being delay the PAUs (even though the developers said they were supposed to come out only a couple months after the November launch). But mainly, the game really lacked any structural PvP. Although, the PvE was the best you could find around for a Space MMO...especially the Bane invasions of the outposts, those were awsome. (But, being a Demolotionist it sucked using the nuke explosion and having a shield bot reflect most of the damage back to me, one shotting myself to death).

oooohhhhh...shiney prizes.
By far the best thing about TR was the base defense and invasions. Very fun.

I like that the game actually pulled off their hybrid FPS/MMO fighting system that people were so concerned of before launch.
I like how the devs are aggressive with their design of quests, sometimes forcing you to stop and actually read the quest text instead of go, "ok, yeah, kill 10 foozles" all the time.
But the favorite thing I like about Tabula Rasa is after a particularly vicious base offense or defense, that moment of silence after the last enemy falls, where you gaze over the mounds of dead thrax scattered around the base.
I mean, who doesn't like gazing over mounds of your fallen foes?

Sci-fi MMO. Not enough of them. Nice graphics.

I liked the fact that TR made you feel like you were in a real warzone. Instead of mobs just appearing, dropships swoop over and beam them to the surface. Great atmosphere.

I love the shotgun and the fast-paced FPS type combat.

I always like TR because it is generally more exciting and focused than many other MMOs. There's very little of the 'go kill 10 boars' questing to do, it's mostly about actually taking the fight to the enemy. And base attacks/defense are about the most adrenaline pumping action you can get in an MMO. Last's nights mass invasion was very much insane, swarms of enemies all over Foreas Base and a huge defense force fighting them off.

I like that it's a great mix between FPS shooter and mmo. Persistent world, plus great FPS action. Helped fill the gaps between Conan and Warhammer for me, and I definitely plan on coming back to it.
