The only thing WoW won't steal from WAR is the stale game play...broken game engine...a player base in decline and buggy graphics.

NUFF SAID!! Now Blizzard can get back to its 11 million subscribers and you fanboys can go back to you 100,000.....LOL.

Are you daft?!, October 30th they announced 800,000 active subscriptions for WAR as well as around 1.1 million game boxes sold.

The engine isn't broken, the player base isn't declining, the gameplay is fun and exciting (unlike raiding the same dungeons each week, while doing your 10 arena games, and the same 4 battlegrounds for the past 2 years *it was 3 battlegrounds before that*), and the graphics are way better then WoW. In no way are they buggy unless the people that are running them are using the same PCs that they were running WoW on.

WoW has been jacking WAR stuff every sense the beginning of the year. From the achievements, to the PvP XP, it's all stuff that WAR had/has and stuff what WoW is "adding" (aka jacking).

Broken? What game did you play? There's no bigger fanboy response than to bring up sub numbers. Pot meet kettle, you are both black.

I think as long as Blizzard keeps doing what they are doing they will remain the mainstream game of MMO's. In my opnion, major mistakes that are the ones when complete overhauls are made. The two worst mistakes I have ever seen in MMO's were Mythic/DAoC's Trials of Atlantis and of course the infamous SWG NGE.

Blizzard has no reason to pull any of the above, that's for sure.

Neither Warhammer or Warcraft are high fantasy. Low fantasy with a touch of steam punk at best.

The Facts

WAR: 800,000 active subscriptions for WAR as well as around 1.1 million game boxes sold.

WOW: 11 million subscribers A hell lot of boxes sold.

WAR VS WOW:

WoW is mostly base on PVE with small content of PVP.

WAR is mostly base on PVP game play with a big part of PVE content to keep the other group happy.

Warcraft was base on Warhammer back in the days when blizzard fail to get the rights.

Warhammer online was base on all the MMO's that come out before it and did take some ideas from lotr/wow/elfquest 2 and many others.

Warhammer is nearing there first 2 months and growing in numbers and So is WOW with wotlk coming up soon it does better them ever.

At the end both games are really good mmo's with a healty player base. Warhammer did build there two months well and listen to players and did answer with bug fixes and changes.

Blizzard last patch neaf all raids and broken some content with neafs and did buff a class in pvp so much that pvp is no fun any more... try to hotfix it no luck there and patch still pending....

You forget:

FACT: Warhammer has always been the weak sister of D&D.
