Finally. I have been waiting a long time for this patch. I couldn't care less about PvP, but the combat and crafting changes have me very intrigued.

Great to hear that this game is getting better and better under new management.

After the whole Fallout 3 / WotlK / Mines of Moria / Left 4 Dead / WAR Heavy Metal / WAR Patch 1.1 dust settles, I think I'll definitely resub AoC for a month or so, dust off my 80 bear shaman, and see what they've got to offer.

Keep 'em coming Funcom! You might have completely botched your release, but almost everyone could see that at its core, AoC was a great game waiting to be unleashed.

"Hell is other people." -- I was hoping AoC would have this consequence system in at the start, it was mentioned in at least one of the earlier video interviews.

Do you think the penalties are steep enough to really prevent people from doing these things? Or for that matter, will the sadists/masochists out there actually embrace this?

(Not an AoC player myself, but I do find this new aspect of the game to be interesting.)

Looks like AoC is coming around. It's a good thing because the potential is nigh limitless.
