The changes are welcome, but what we really need is SIEGE.

LOTRO PvP is "Ok", but would be AWESOME if the creeps were given actual gear, further customization options and for both sides to have crafted doors/siege engines for the epic battles in the Ettenmoors.

This is still the PvPM and not actual PvP, right? Got confused for a moment.

I tried WAR and (in my opinion) the overall game is a mere shadow of what LOTRO is. WAR's graphics, music and sounds are horrible, the PvE is one of the worst in any major MMORPG and crafting is an absolute joke and might as well be non-existent. Yeah the PvP is good, and there are sieges (occasionally, when the scenarios aren't eating up all the players), but when the rest of the game is so lacking, a decent PvP system is not enough to make up for it.

That and the game makes a complete mockery of Warhammer lore, even for a game adaptation. And that's coming from a REAL Warhammer player who has been involved with the hobby for over 15 years.

I'll stick with LOTRO's average PvP thanks and arguably unrivaled PvE, thanks.

Turbine has mentioned plans for different PvMP setups as the game expands into new areas of Middle Earth... I'm hoping for it, personally. I don't spend a lot of time in the Moors, but certainly giving people more options isn't a bad thing.

I just never really felt like I had enough of an investment in a monster to play as one. Sure, you can learn new moves and so forth... but preventing normal characters from getting places just because doesn't strike me as significantly interesting.
