Most of this event was just a repeat of the naxx event any way. Too bad they had to end it early because of a bunch of whiny children though.

There's no proof they ended it early because of babies. For all you know, this is exactly when it was suppose to end, before this weekends server downtime.

You also don't know what else is going to happen. A cure has been found, but what else will happen? Will Arthas show up himself? Who knows.

While i dont play WOW i have friends and a family memeber that do, none are "whiny children" as a recent poster so candidly typed, misguided because they play wow imo but not whiny. All complained about the players (i call them morons to be politically incorrect.) killing npc's.

The reason is one fold, the devs "wow this is neato" decision to have quest and battlemaster npc's killable.

Players ran up to npc's for the sole purpose of killing them and creating chaos, on paper it was a great, fun idea, in practice irritating and inconvienient to the majority, hence the choice to end the event in regards to zombies.

If the devs had just used common sense.............(grin)

hmm while i agree the npc dead is silly the whole event was a break out from the norm i just hope that all mmo do more world events.

most mmo i have played end of boring me with in 6 months

wow
coh/cov
etc

if they would do more events maybe have some boss run across the world attacking everthing would be more fun than doing the same thing over again once i hit the cap.

It was a great idea, if it had a little more control. If you had a 70 it was manageable somewhat. Even better manageable if your 70 is a spell class and can fly in Shatt. Most however did not like having to deal with trying to level a character and constantly dying. Or having to wait around for a NPC to respawn to complete, get quests, or join a BG. Dailies was sometimes impossible to get. And yes, when someone pays monthly for this game, they should expect to be able to do what they logged on to do most of the time. Can you imagine anyone that is just starting out. Some might of said “forget it, this is no fun” and got their money back. Most people like to accomplish tasks in any game and not constantly die and get no where. Thus one of the reasons Blizzard made the accomplishment feature I’m sure. The real problem isn’t just because one person was having fun killing and infecting whatever they wanted ( not sure what that accomplishes). But after they have had their fun, someone else decided it was there turn. Over and over again gets old for anyone. The story line is great and I love the idea of it all. But blizzard needs to think about all there paying customers and not just having a cool story line going into the LK. I am happy that it was just for a few days and some players were able to have a great time with it. But at the same time, ready to move on and cant wait to see what’s next.
