Warhammer online is it for me, with the usual occasional raids on AoC. Won't touch WOTLK with a stick, had enough to be bored with it in beta.
Will definately give a look to Tecmo's Bastard!! Online, if it gets released in the west or if we'll have a chance to play on the japanese servers.

In LOTRO if I'm in an MMO. Moria looks very cool, and it looks as though they are sticking to their word about not making any uber-raiding like there is in WoW. I like my casual raids and actual loot choices thank you. The housing needs a face lift soon however, free place or bust.

I'm gonna guess I'll still be playing WAR (its great fun and hasn't failed to deliver so far) while anxiously following the development of the CCP/White Wolf project as well as 38 Studios' "Copernicus" mystery game.

Potential contenders for what I'll be playing next year also include:

Chronicles of Spellborn
Champions Online
DC Universe Online

Taking over the world in Mortal Online with my guild, Aegis Imperium. Comes out next summer, and is deffinetly shaping up to most things I could ever want in an MMO.

Patiently waiting for Guild Wars 2. I'll be on the lookout for any MMO that has similar payment plan as GW. I simply can't afford multiple subscription fees.

Hmm. Warhammer and CoX. If all goes well and the devs stick by their constant and regular updates and improvements schedule. I need games that have the capacity to change over 2-3 months, latest 6 months, not wait for an expansion that takes 6 months to a year. I'll be bored out of my skull otherwise.

Things I do want to try:
Champions Online (I have vague sentiments of doom over this though, may be too action console for me.)

Aion (a group NCsoft pass would be good, then maybe I'll even reconsider Tabula Rasa in the bargain)

Jumpgate: Evolution (ships in space dogfighting, woot!)

Stargate Worlds (see what they're doing with the story aspect - the setting itself doesn't compell though)

Guild Wars 2 (I will probably cave in and get this out of loyalty to the GW payment model. Depends on how innovative they are being and if they bend over too much to cater to one vocal audience or another.)

Thank goodness I have no interest in the Star Trek or Star Wars settings. Though I might keep an eye open for whatever spiffy thing they're attempting with the KOTOR MMO. Just not sure the stories and systems will be enough to hold me if I'm one of those odd ducks with no Star Wars fantasies anyhow.

My dream world settings: World of Darkness and WH40K. Waiting for those, but those are far away as yet. Doubt they'll be done in a year.

I'll probably still be playing EVE Online. Not so sure if I'll still play WoW, but I think so.
