You may have heard that yesterday was the beginning of a unique event inside the confines of World of Warcraft. In advance of the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the cruel developers at Blizzard have let loose a horrible horrible plague. Of course it might be a plague with which you're familiar, if you're a WarCraft RTS player.
Running around, biting peoples heads open last night ... it made us think. How does this plague event stack up to other in-game events in other games? How does this stack up with other WoW events? Have you participated yet, you zombie-loving Massively readers you? Let us know in the comments. Or just give us a good old "Braaaaains" shoutout!

Well, this isn't a Halloween event. It's a world event for the expansion.
I think it's a pretty awesome event so far, although I don't think it's close to being completely finished, at all. I really think this is just the beginning of it.
I've been playing WoW since beta but I never really participated in the pre-expansion world events, so I'd have to say that this is my favorite one so far.
Although, the end of the Open Beta was badass, with all the infernals invading capital cities. I remember trying to tank one on my level 8 warrior. Rofl.
