I shall have to raise my had as one of those - thankfully not too rare - sadsacks who LIKE strong solo play in my MMOs.

As Wjowski pointed out, it is a long way from release... but if TOR can pull off all the traditional solo play features they are touting, I will be very excited.

Guild Wars is my favorite MMO ever for it being 'a solo game you play socially', and it looks like GW2 is facing some stiff competition now.

Strong solo elements are pretty much required for an MMO to be successful. Dungeons and Dragons Online should've been the biggest thing ever but (at least in part) because Turbine thumbed it's nose at soloers DDO's been relegated to a niche game.
