As far as the limitation of a Warden's port compared to a Hunter's it doesn't sound that bad. The 4 places you mentioned are within easy riding distance of most of the other places you'd want to go while leveling. From Evendim you can ride up to Forochel, from Esteldin up to Angmar, Rivendell up to Misty Mountains, etc. That they have a port at all will make things far easier.
The run boost is also very nice. Is it permanent like a hunter's? Is it equal in speed to a hunter's? The ambush ability sounds brilliant though. Do you know if there have been any more spears spread throughout the lower levels for Wardens?
