It does sound fun in theory, but the points you raise here do sound frustrating too... In fact, almost more frustrating than fun. But I suppose this character is supposed to be more of a "glass cannon" style?

I wonder what (if any) of this will be cleared up prior to launch. They still do have a month and I imagine comments on these sites will have some effect.

I never liked LOTR due to there being no mage class. Problem with this one is that as he can heal groups will expect you to heal rather than DPS. it will be like a Druid or Priest in WOW not healing in a group. Think turbine missed the mark here.

That's the thing though, a RK will be able to flip back and forth from DPS to healing on the fly.

And, with the exception of the Hunter, every class in LOTRO can heal either themselves or the group in some fashion.

The majority of content in LOTRO can be 3-manned and usually I'm looking for more DPS not heals. Oh, and this isn't WoW. At least on my server you play how you want to, not the way someone tells you to.

Stops being a game if you let someone else play it for you.
