Back when I started playing WoW, I used to enjoy PvP a lot and I could feel the adrenaline rushing in the heat of the battle, but that's long ago and it quickly became just another grinder. In EVE I still get that feeling because there is actual risk to it and the PvP does have consequences. Sadly there aren't many sandboxgames around, still a long wait until Earthrise/Fallen Earth are released.
