I suspect Mythic keeps boosting the XP gains in the RvR "lakes" to encourage people to go there instead of just grinding away in instanced scenarios. Personally, I prefer impromptu skirmishes in non-instanced zones but those are few and far between (even on an OpenRvR server!) aside from the occasional keep assault/defense -- and I (still) consider myself a carebear!

I feel the XP/Reknown gains from instanced scenarios should diminish over time to discourage people from staying in them the entire day. Maybe there should be *another* Rested XP Bonus bar that is only consumed when in a scenario? When the Rested (Scenario) XP bonus bar is gone you can still do scenarios, of course, but without an XP bonus. The XP/Reknown gain from scenarios would have to be lowered too so the combined (normal+bonus) XP would be the same as it is today.

I'd rather them just make it so that open RvR has it's own advantages for XP. The great thing about WAR is it is all about choice. I don't HAVE to go out and grind mobs to level. I don't HAVE to do PvP to level. I can do what I want to do.

I'd like to see (no idea what it is atm though) the keep sieges be a bit higher XP than what one would get for completing a scenario. Likewise give the battlefield objectives an XP bonus as well, although smaller.
