I understand the escapist wanting to carve a niche out to get paid, no problem with that, but when the new network starts touting the likes of......Jessica Mulligan, a dev with no clue, no insight, and no identity, how can the network be taken seriously?

The story behind Mulligan and what heshe did to gamers is all over the net, this mangirl has no fans at all save those at the corporate level afraid to tell this individual what they think about it because of lawyers.

The escapist needs to rethink the folks they have chosen, the first merit being common sense and the second being, what can i do for you, not me.

Fail.

Possum,

You lose all credibility when you start flinging around homophobic terms like "mangirl" and "heshe." If you have substantive criticisms to make about Jessica's history as a game designer, you should be more specific. Instead, you throw around name-calling words and make vague, personalized references to rumors that are "all over the Internet."

Beyond fail. Go back to Barrens chat.

Thanks Aaron for the perfect reply to such a stupid comment.

Nice article - this topic is very interesting, hopefully Massively will keep cover it.

You will have to get over your own problem Aaron, not to start anything, my posts speak for themselves.

If i wanted to post anything remotely "homophobic" as you so quaintly described i would post it, i did not.

take your narrowminded demographic goggles off and read my post, it shows one thing with this gender confused dev, confusion begets confused results, period. References you can look up yourself, dont be lazy.

You bring a totally different reference with the word "homophobic" into play aaron that has nothing to do with my blog.

To make sure you understand and your fellow knee jerk reactionaries the descriptions are dead on, no other references are remotely implied unless *You* are the one with the phobia and implications.

You Fail Aaron, research a bit before posting your fears.

Just a minor interjection. I don't think the comment can be said to speak for itself. I know that I, for one, haven't got the foggiest what you're talking about.

If that story's all over the net, could you provide some pointers? A cursory search didn't turn up anything.

Hahahaha. "Pipe" in French has a completely different and more popular meaning. It's blowjob. So, that translates to:

"This is not a blowjob."

That's awesome.

I wonder if that usage was around in 1926, when the painting was made.

@Tateru: From what I understand, the usage was there but it wasn't popularized until the 50's/60's. Freudian sexuality expression and all that, I suppose.

(I live in France btw) ;)
