This really is a very small point, but I love the show so can't help making the correction (although it has little to no bearing on the general basis of the show), but Penny (the blonde) actually moved in across from them, rather than the other way around ("two extremely geeky twenty-something males -- both scientists at Caltech -- move in across the hall from a pretty but not-too-terribly sophisticated blonde woman.")

Any geek at heart HAS to watch the series. They'll love it :)
