More Star Wars:

means, If Han Solo can wield a lightsaber I want that too.
Even though he cant reflect Shots from Blaster etc. but it should work, even if its not good.
If that is Kotor Online, I would like to have a big Spaceflight Part, just because thre are so many unknown regions we could explore, following the Revans Path or something.
More varietys when it comes to attacks and stuff like that.
So no skills that are the same for every proffession, a game with learning by doing is just fine.
On that way, you wouldnt need skill trainers, you could learn what you want just by doing it.

SWG is crap, because everyone has the same attributes (slightly pending). You can tell what the skill 4 at lvl so or so can do, without telling the proffesion. Thats crap.

Unique Skills, so if a mandalorian can train a stealth skill only jedi should see them with their senses, or if a bounty hunter does dirty tricks, only he should be able to do stuff like that. Advantages for proffessions which cannot be reverted by other skills (or almost).

Space Vehicles shouldnt be restricted, so if Im a Soldier, I should be able to fly any SHip I want, time after time of course. If its a ship from another faction, flying alone should train the ability how good I fly this ship. Same for goes weapons as well (except lightsabers which should be a normal sword for people without Jedi/sith reflexes, except for damage of course.

Factions: Sith, Jedi, republic, Mandalorian, Multiple Pirate Corps, Against everyone, neutral

Just make sure it feels like Star Wars. Exotic planets, epic battles, cool toys, SABACC, the Sarlacc. Massive multiplayer battles that affect the landscape of the game, unlocking instanced solo areas where you square off against the bad guy at the end and then you feel like the hero of the battle. No set character classes, just starter character types, like farm boy or merchant. In Star Wars anyone can learn anything. An overarcing story that progresses meaningfully would be nice too.

1. Sandbox (Nonlinear gameplay)

2. No classes/professions. Just attributes with some limits pairing of select attributes for balancing.

3. No separation of PvE or PVP. This would eliminate multiple servers and separate balancing. I would make it PvPvE (Aion: The Tower of Eternity).

4. Epic X-wing/Tie-fighter space battles as well as on-board access to starships and outpost.

5. Locations should be distinctively different from one another and have more than one locals per planet giving the impression of size.

Space Combat shuld be fun and exciting like in rogue squad for the gamecube

Tons of content for each class and customizable tool to give u uniqueness among the thousands of plyrs

Factions

Sith
Jedi
Mandalorian
Republic
Neutral(Czerka Corp, Gray jedi, civilian, smuggler, exchange muscle)

different jedi stances and attack types for guardians consulars, sentients, sith marauders etc.
reverse grip stance, power stance, speed stance, duel weild stance, etc

all FP from kotor 1 and 2 make jedi have force unleashed type character once becoming elite jedi

ability to place bounties on peoples heads
Planets: korriban, manaan, kashyyk, tatooine, telos, onderon, yavin4, duxun, etc.

customize the look of your jedi sabers, clothing, robes, etc.

make jedi trials available after successfully gaining 15-20 lvls and recieve a visit from a representative from the council seeking recruits to be trained for an upcoming war with revan

to become sith jedi u have to do similar to kotor 1 and impress the rep at the academy by either obtaining an amulet to gain entry by either stealing or killing a sith who has one after entry or something new

Mandalorians shuld be trained on dxun or some unknown part of space where mandies are trained
they shuld also have customizable armor to distinguish rank and uniqueness among themselves

A few things I would really like to see.

1. Game needs to have a strong community base.
It is one of the things I really enjoy about SWG.
I still paly swg and would have quit playing a long time ago if not for the friends I have made in the game and enjoy logging in to interact with them.

2. Suggestion for jedi. Make jedi a random occurance when you creat you toon. once you creat your toon you get a message that your toon is force sensitive. This then adds an opptional career path to become jedi/sith or you can choose a regualr charachter but because of the force sensitivity you gain some added bonus to your stats(i.e. enhanced precision, luck, etc. where luck maybe gives you better odds on looting items.) Depending on how many toons the game will allow you to generate per server you can delete a toon to retry for a force sensitive toon once per month or something like that.
3. definetly has to have space content. SWG took a year before they added space content and has gone pretty much forgotten since that time. Would be nice as a guilde to be able to build a capital ship to use, size/type would be based on the size of the guild.
4. I did like the mixable proffesions that were available when swg first came out. There were no cookie cutter toons.

-complex crafting system
-complex resource/mineral harvesting system
-player houses
-HUGE life like planets
-Customizable player skill trees, for example u can be a jedi and a crafter and your jedi skills will help your crafter skills etc..
-JEDI CAN NOT BE A STARTING CLASS, it should be a class you have to do a bunch of quests and work really hard to unlock.
-maybe a system where theres no character proffesions/classes your just YOU and you learn abilities and gain exp etc..
-Vehicles in PVP.
-a make your own Swoop gang system

I would like to see some sort of custom adventure system. Where players turn into the role of NPC's. for example like bao-dur in the telos restoration project, instead of bao-dur it could be you helping restore that planet and you meet new friends along the way.

The GMs should also schedule big events like the mandalorian wars for example but maybe something different. But a big event thats going to effect the player economy, its going to effect the demand for certain items etc..

There are a lot of things I'm hoping for, but I really want to see an MMORPG that focuses on the RP. WoW is great about catering to raiders, and Warhammer is a PvPers dream, but RPers are pretty left out. Here's some things I want as an RPer:
1) Places for RP events. I don't care if they are privately owned ships/houses or mobless instances, but there has got to be a place that people can go where they won't be bothered by "griefers"
2) Enforce the RP on RP servers. I'm not saying everyone who plays KOTOR has to RP. However, if KOTOR has an RP server, then people should be forced to be in character at all times when using the equivalent of /say. YES this will be a pain in the ass, but there are some people who want it, and if that means creating light and heavy RP servers, fine. But make some way for RPers to play a game with other RPers without having to hunt for RPers.
3) More character customization. WoW did do a fine job with the talent point system in allowing you to cutomize how you fight, but still all mages were confined to cloth, and you were stuck with whatever weapons were allowed by your class. All the body types were the same, and any type of multi-classing was impossible.
4) Skills. Professions are a wonderful thing, and should definitely be a large point of character development. Having to learn to fly ships, or build droids, or use computers. Not just as a way to earn money or make life more convenient, but part of the game, required for quests. "Can anyone in this group use a computer?"
Like I said, we all have hopes, and there are other things I would like to see (non-Jedi force users, being able to talk to people of opposing faction), but what I really want is a game that puts RP back into MMORPG.

You know what I want from a KOTOR MMO?

Just one thing....

An mmo that is complete!

EA is filthy rich.....yes they are stfu.

If I go out and buy a car, I pay for a car. I don't pay for the engine with the promise of recieveing wheels later.

I've seriously played virtually every MMO since UO (Ultima Online). Why is it that lately developers are summon the Hype Monster to do their bidding?

Honestly if you feel that you are a company that is pioneering the genre, then keep your mouths shut and release an awesome MMO. I promise that if it is in fact the game we've all been waiting for your profits/success will be huge. If it isn't then you have failed and the red line of death (on your subscription graph) will come and own you as it should.

In summary, all I want is a bug free mmo. If you say a feature is in it, then it should work. Otherwise STFU....

all im gonna say is. IF THEY RUSH THIS GAME THEY BIOWARE AND LUCAS ARTS WILL JUST GET ANOTHER CRAPPY MMO THAT NO ONE WILL BUY.'

the game needs to incorperate all the awesome things people on this forum are saying.
from what i can see everyone wants to be able to start off as neutral or wahtever and then play from there ...choosing if your a jedi , sith, bounty hunter, miner, or whatever.

MAKE THE GAME LOOK AMAZING.- even if they game requires an awesome beast of a pc - doo ittt!
people want quality. quality sells!

PVP is a must and should be a huge focus in the game.Personally i hate RP .
Imagine having huge wars of sith vs jedi .
and bounties should be able to place on people and guilds for money.

loans should be allowed aswell.
and if you turn to the dark side your eyes turn red or something.
and you have to construct new lightsabres all the time. This should be a challenging task!!\

if i think of anything else ill add it!
