hm, they simply fire anyone injured in the line of duty without any compensation for their sacrifice?

...I wonder why more people don't feel like applying for the job...

Hello TigroSpottyStripes...yes unfortunately these are not ravings by disgruntled ex employees of WAPOL (this is not the Family Law Court of WA).
I live with my cousin a Retired Medically Unfit person who gave WAPOL 25 years of service.
Now at 46 she has very little Super as she had to access that at a Huge tax (losing around 60% of it) just to pay for medication and Psychiatrist bills - to make matters worse at the onset of the illness the WAPOL's Health & Welfare dept misdiagnosed the complaint and suggested that the marriage was the possible cause of the malaise & that consideration should be given to getting out of that!
