I regularly check the eve section of your site. I really thing you guys could do a much better job at posting news about eve, there is plenty going on in the game, more frequent and interesting articles would be nice, with the way the eve section on this site is updated now you may as well just remove it all together if you not going to actually make good use of the column.

Just some suggestions :)

Keep in mind that EVE isn't know to everyone who plays or has played MMOs. Sometimes these light news article is exactly what is needed to hook people into a game.

There's got to be something for everyone, from carebears to hardcore PvPers and everything in between. Remember that EVE having a sandbox makes it impossible to cater all articles to everything.

And if you're looking for the more chunkier EVE articles, Massively has them also. Just check out the EVE Evolved series amongst others (http://www.massively.com/category/eve-evolved/)

I think one Eve posting a day would be a good goal for Massively, and I think they far exceed that. I think they give great general and sometimes even very specific coverage on Eve and would ask them to keep up the good work.

Now on to the point raised in this article. Too little of a step in my opinion. I really don't think the problems in Eve stem from mission lag. The reason there is lag in Jita is because it has the best market in the game (centered mainly around 1 particular station in Jita). Most people go to Jita to buy things without having to travel to multiple systems to get what they need. The second biggest reason people go to Jita is probably to kill the people who go to Jita to buy things (and they sometimes break the law when doing this which results in Concord being called, which creates its own lag).

I think the best solution to the Jita lag problem would be to make Jita a no-fire zone. Weapons just cease to work. Thus, no one would camp Jita, Concord would not need to be called, and there would be no drone lag either.

Make Jita a dead-end system but put some incentives for people to trade there, otherwise the traders will just move to another system and create more lag there.
