Just so we're clear on that.
We aren't doomed whatsoever. It's good that the House is debating this law, which was already democratically debated when it was passed, and will go on debating it, as will the judicial system. That's what separation of powers and a democratic system under the rule of law is all about, children.
As we saw from their Imprudence manifesto, Jacek and pals would prefer that the paying customers of SL -- or by analogy in a country, the taxpayers who vote -- be gotten round, that the superior and privileged and enlightened geeks deliberately do an end run around them and decide for everybody since "they are progressive" and "representative democracy is backwords". So they are Bolsheviks, and it's important to recognize that.
Tateru seems to have a poor grasp again here of how precedent law works, and how two branches of government will work in tandem in a system we call "checks and balances," and once again seems to be favouring a magisterial system where, oh, groups of geek experts would also inform and consult with the State to create the proper rulings.
