Almost all the MIDIs from the start of Ultima Online were great. Really fitting music for the various parts of the game, especially the theme for Britain. Sadly they were replaced later....

"Williams Square" from Founders Falls, in City of Heroes. The main Atlas Park theme is nicely iconic also.

TR. Especially on the planet Arieki where the background music can rock like some heavy metal (here's a sample I once recorded in Mires near Orsa Garrison: http://www.divshare.com/download/4922767-df2)... but then I guess that would be expected when one of the guys also worked with NIN & KMFDM (http://rpgvault.ign.com/articles/829/829049p1.html) :)

Every single one of the Guild Wars releases features incredible music. Jeremy Soule is a very talented composer. He also did the music for KOTOR, Nerverwinter Nights, and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion among many others.

My favorite is the Guild Wars theme and it's variations throughout the series.

Tabula Rasa's music gets annoying REALLY fast...whose decision was that?

Tabula Rasa's music is pretty cheesy, imo. And I listen almost exclusively to heavy metal :P

Old school EQ music is my favorite, though.

Hands down the entirety of the EVE soundtrack is the best composition for a MMORPG.

It can stand alone and firm in its exquisite melodic undulations.

As an attribute of the game it is it graces and punctuates environs and actions alike in an unparalleled complimentary tuning.

Age of Conan has the best score I've ever heard in the PC game genre period. Oscar worthy in my opinion.

I'd give the runner up to EVE. Fantastic in game jukebox.

WoW's Burning Crusade had lots of amazing moments:

- Great ambient pieces in the Draenei starting areas
- Wonderfully beautiful and evocative lyrical pieces in the Blood Elf areas including a fantastic song
- Great pieces dotted around Outland too including beautiful themes in Nagrand and a brilliant tense theme that played out in the Caverns of Time Old Southshore and Black Morass dungeons...

I actually had a lot of these pieces on my iPod for a while which I've never done with a video game before...
