"...another step in Flying Lab's attempts to strengthen and grow the community..."

Yeah. I remember some of their first steps. Ignoring a underpopulation problem, purposefully obfuscating the problem from its customers by constantly changing and limiting ways in which server pops were displayed, outright lying to their customers about it and when proof was handed to them they basically said "oops. uh... we didn't know. yeah. that's it. yeah."

When it was apparent that no amount of fudging the numbers was going to keep 75% of the servers from showing "light" population across the board the resorted to shutting down servers, smushing people together, throwing disruptive "hardcore" (read: griefing-centric) groups into what was supposed to be an RP server.

Oooo! Or implementing a "new and improved harassment policy" that was supposed to be retroactively enforced... only it never was, as long as you interspersed your bad behavior with textually fellating FLS staff.

Perks for being and FLS fanboi include:
* Ability to use bugs, exploits and actual modifications to the game with no repercussions, even after multiple "official warnings."

* Ability to use racial slurs in public channels as well as on the public forums repeatedly with no repercussions, even after multiple "official warnings."

* Ability to engage in numerous behaviors defined by FLS staff itself as "improper use" and "greifing" with no repercussions, even after multiple "official warnings."

* A funny taste in your mouth that mouthwash just won't get rid of... and $15 less a month in your wallet.
