Everyone playing in the Head Start will be playing using the downloaded client because no editions of the game will be available from any retailer prior to the 18th anyway. That's been Mythic's plan since they announced the CE, months ago. There's instructions for this on the WAR Herald.

As I see it, the box I get from my retailer is merely a pretty formality for holding my backup discs and all-important retail game code.
