Man....I can't understand why they wont make stability issues a priority. I can guarentee a game crashing multiple times a session is of more concern to the majority of players than overstacked gems.

I do understand that there are most likely more than 1 team working on fixes, but i would think more resources (I.E. people) should be put towards making the game stable.

For me, when the game crashes, I don't log back in. I'm not so concerned with character stats as I am with a game that is plagued by stability issues.

Sounds like your computer sucks. Since the major memory leak areas got addressed (glares at Old Tarantia), I've not really seen stability issues in terms of crashing. Reinstall?

The company is only a little over 300 people, and a third of that is customer service. Take out management, marketing, and quality assurance, and I suspect there are only 40-80 actual devs. That's 10-15 times smaller than Blizzard. REALLY small for a MMO team, especially for one so ambitious and with such a big player base.

It's surprising they get as much work done as they do, although that says nothing about their questionable priorities I have to say. Stability though seems to be a smaller issue these days, sans all the holes in the world.

Well my computer doesn't suck as I built it with top of the line components last year.

Maybe I am being a bit over zealous with the stability claims. It just seems like the majority of the time I stop playing not of my own free wil, but cause the game crashes. Although you always remember the bad bits, and not so much the good.

Maybe they are not as glaring, but they are still there.

Heh it's been said a million times, there trying to nerf themselves right out of a subscriber base. 90% of the resources seem to be aimed at making people level slower so they wont see how broken the end game is as fast. I defended them rabidly till about a month ago when I realized they could care less about what there players want, they just want to make sure you keep paying. Mythic and Blizzard and even NCsoft know to make the players happy and the money will come, that's why they succeed.

For everyone who complains about the nerfs, twice as many people were asking for them.

Any idea how many petitions got sent in about "THIS GUY IS HACKING! HE TWO-SHOTED ME ZOMGWTF!"?

You may not be a fan of the change, but these kinds of things are in response to what players are asking for. Hard part of any stat change is you're always gonna piss off one group while making another happy.

This is how SWG started going down hill...

SWG had a stable player base and had been out for at least a year before things went seriously sour; in AoC's case, it's nothing short of a rerun of Hellgate: London.
