Uh how about fixing that mess of a game first or do they just plan on selling the fixes as an xpac?

Think they will have the memory leaks fixed by the expansion?

Well, the expansion talk I can understand, though it's maybe a bit early. They need to keep some interest up to get the time to fix things and lord knows they haven't made getting positive attention easier for themselves. Bragging about a movie tie-in at this point is just a bit over the top though >

I think they owe loyal subscribers a lot more free content (well, it wouldn't free since there's been a subscription fee) before they start talking about payed expansion packs. Why can't they be like Eve Online and generate the hype for expansion packs but not charge people for them?

Still, I appreciate that they expand on the lore, since I think that's one of AoC's greatest assets. I wish they would make something in the homeland of the Vanir though, some kind of thrust into their territory by Conan or something like that :p The Cimmeria/northern content is among the best in the game imo

Given the way AoC has been going since launch (downhill), the company's stocks (downhill) and general faith in Funcom as a game developer (gone), what are the odds they will actually be able to sell an AoC expansion pack, let alone even finish it properly?

What is an expansion of a buggy game? Even more bugs!

An expansion? They've probably only just paid off their debts.

A movie? The Failcom staff won't be eating for a while.

Oriental? Barely mentioned in the real Conan stories.

Updates? You mean new beta builds?

I think this is hilarious, from the day that beta came around I saw the utter fail in this game, yet all those bloody hyping fanboys kept saying "Oh it's only beta it'll get better". Then the game was released but did the fanboys give up? Oh no, they kept bitching about WoW being bad at launch (which it wasn't aside from some server stability issues) and that their glorious conan soon would be the greatest game ever (despite huge game design issues).

- But it seems like finally even the complete muppets have understood what a steaming pile of shit this game is and what a joke the people at funcom are. They sold copies only because of the hyping desperate people who badly wanted a new MMO after WoW.

This is your punishment, embrace it for you deserve it.

- Lets hope that at least WAR will keep us entertained until Blizz or CCP can come up with a new one. That KOTR mmo could be interesting aswell.
