Sounds like a lot of design work and thought went into this game before it was released.

Doesn't really matter because funcom has dropped the ball so hard that no one is playing AoC anymore anyways

False statement is false.

Ignorant statement is ignorant.

From what I read the duping exploit is still plenty doable.

Also gems don't just imbalance it a bit, it gives pretty much any class (but casters) a chance to one shot. Yeah, even guardians can 1 shot with a pole and dmg gems.

"While the PvP notoriety system has met with a mostly enthusiastic reception"

very very un-true man.

Idiotic. One of the many reasons my entire 71 member guild up and quit after we tested it on live.

There is NO loss of item on death and that is a tragedy. There's no point to this game. You fight and you gain PvP xp and you fight to keep your Battlekeeps, but for what?

If there is no loss, there is no gain.

Until they create some sort of perma or temp loss for losing a PvP battle, then this game will never be ready for prime-time.

Time to quit the genre then or stick with Asian games. No new mainstream game targetting the western market will ever have that.
