Sorry to tell ya Massively, but this patch did not fix anything. The barbarian was nerfed even more:

The "fixed" zone Catacombs is bugged to where you load it, it will freeze up your pc, you restart your pc, log back in, and your stuck in the same loading screen as before:

Nerfing themselves right out of a customer base. Maybe they should stop screwing with balancing and start working on bugs? First game in history to be more fun in beta than release.

It's so hilarious... it's SO clear and obvious that the whole PvP system is an afterthought and an add-on that was whipped up at the last minute.

If they didn't get the game right after 5 years of working on it, a new feature they've only spent a few months total thinking about and implementing is certainly the final nail in the coffin.

Funcom has duped all of you fools.

Funcom told us from the get go that the original PvP system was scrapped.

The new one was just created a few months ago...

so you're correct, but still a douche bag.

Hopefully AoC has taught all publishers what happens when you release a game that isn't even close to being ready. You lose your subscribers, and they don't come back when these patches (that should have been in release) finally arrive. Still no PVP system? In a game that was marketed as THE PVP game? How many months has it been now?

If the industry didn't learn from Vanguard, it's certainly not going to learn from AoC.

I'm pleased that they've added voice acting. At this rate Age of Conan will be a very good game in a year or so.

Take note Funcom: Fluff is all it takes to keep an Age of Conan fanboy happy.

I mean, who cares that a majority of the core game isn't there if more people talk?!

Suddenly I'm a fanboy because I say that I'm happy with more voice acting? It adds a lot to the atmosphere, imagine Oblivion if it didn't have any voice acting. No need to be an asshole and attack me just because I voiced appreciation for one thing in the patch. Just because I don't bitch at every single AoC post doesn't make me a fanboy. Stay the fuck away from me if you can't deal with me being happy with something.

Yes, I would call you a fanboy. For one they still haven't fixed the gem duping bug that has been in the game for over a month. Of course, what are your thoughts on that? "Oh, well all games have that problem.... economy doesn't matter..... ect. ect."

Really they wasted time adding in voice overs to a game where the majority of players don't even read quest text when they could have been working on actual issues.

That's lv80 content for ya, there's nothing else to do than grind gold and/or gems. :P

Seriously I can't believe that 1) the PvP update is yet-again postponed (wtf are they doing over there, coding by hand?) and 2) more so-called fixes that create more bugs.

I've really lost all faith in this game, the core is good but incomplete, and Funcom seems to be more interested in killing it off than finishing it.

Tortage was great, the voice acting some of the best i had listened to. Then the main area and nothing.

So many things that are wrong in AOC, the biggest being its simply not finished, not even in the release sense of the word.

Aoc is an absolute disaster. This patch was lipstick on a pig. The patch brought in another plethora of bugs as usual. The game is dying. If you were thinking of subscribing, think again.

First things first, I must agree that Nadril is a douchebag. There's really no need to terrorise other posters, pal. The voice acting is actually one of the much anticipated additions that the player base was waiting for and, from what I hear, a welcomed addition.

It's really quite sad, but AoC does seem like somewhat of a failure. It's a game that could have it all, but tripped over its own mess. The graphics and the general artistic design are stunning, the music's good, the voice acting is generally speaking very well performed and the classes are somewhat neat. What the game doesn't have is content and reliability. It's a superb game which simply isn't ready. I don't even know if it's the beta or the alpha we're playing now, but I certainly hope that the MMO developers will get this simple point: FINISH YOUR GAMES BEFORE RELEASING THEM. Vanguard did it, AoC did it and, let's be honest here, it sucks!
