Starcraft MMO done as a tactical MMOFPSRPG with vehicles.

Either all 3 factions playable or just protoss and terran with zerg as main enemy.

Should also have combat in space, and you can get your own spaceship like wraiths and guilds could get a bigger spaceship like battlecruisers.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Online: The search for Bill Carson

Done by Turbine since they're good at doing semi-expansions every 2 months to update the story.

You guys are dreaming too small. Check this out:

A Magic The Gathering MMO. Set in the Magic world, but not using the rules dirrectly

Basic idea of the game is that players have a list of available creatures they can summon (their deck). Once a creature is summoned, they can then fight as that creature. Thus, while everyone can only fill one role at a time, all players can fill different roles at different times. Picture a five-man team working an area, starting out strong but as they near the final boss they are running low on creatures they can summon, and they can't restart the deck here, only back "in town". I agree, the idea would need a lot of playtesting.

So, for studio I'd pick Croteam (The guys that did Serious Sam)
And in the main designer seat I'd hope to secure Jack Emmert, (Cryptic Studios co-founder) as Lead Designer. However, each of the 5 different zones (for each of the different mana types) would have a different Designer.

Blue: Phil Foglio (of Girl Genius )
Red: Christy Marx (From Jem and the unreleased B5 video game
Green: Andrew Tepper (from A Tale In The Desert)
White: Yuji Naka (Nights into Dreams) teamed up with Richard Bartle
Black: Tim Burton (Nightmare before Christmas, and some other stuff)

Then, after the zones are set up, and lots of testing has been done, Lawrence Block, J. Michael Straczynski, Piers Anthony, Kurt Busiek and Gail Simone write 5 different quest chains that end with one amazing touching moment.

That would be sweet.

I'd love to see 2 legend of Zelda universe MMOs. One using a "Link to the Past" style engine, and another using a modern 3D engine. Maybe the 2d one could be played via DS, or even a web browser. Instead of skill-based classes, I'd like to see different party jobs come out of which items are used to fill limited item slots, similar to 4-swords adventures, but with more than 1 special item at a time.

Retrogamers need an MMO!

Star Wars: Galaxies....done right.

I'd have to use 3 development companies working different parts of it.

CCP Games (EVE Online) would do a large part of it. The economy, general mechanics, universe design, etc.

Volition, Inc. (Descent: Freespace) to do the space combat. Freespace had the best space battles of any game, ever. Alternatively you could have the Freelancer devs do it to make it more noob friendly.

Bethesda Softworks (Oblivion) to design the out-of-ship experience. Worlds, first-person combat, character development/RPG aspects

My three top choices for franchise have already been mentioned - Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering (anyone remember the old Shandalar single player game?), and Legend of Zelda. For the engine & team I'd want the Furcadia engine & my current team. But then, I'm biased aren't I? ;)
