I think people have a misconception that it cost NCsoft or DG anything. This is all RG. He paid, and he's using it to gain attention to a damn well made game.

TR has it's issues. Depth, end game, ad nasuam. But, for what it is (fast paced, mmo hybrid shooter) it cleans the clock of most snooze fest grinders.

It is not WoW w/ guns. It was never intended to be. It's more Halo w/ loot and other players then WoW w/ guns. The game has made HUGE improvments in the past months. Tweaks and game-play over all are awesome. It's so unfortunate that gamers are so cynical and close minded that they'll give a game 3 days at launch and then write it off as shit. Grow up, people.

As far as this event: Good on ya, RG. Capitalizing on your life long dream is something any jaded, epeen, whiny twit would want to do.

I hope all the people taking part in this realize that their DNA samples will burn in Earth's atmosphere in a couple of decades when the ISS becomes obsolete and gets de-orbited.

RG is so.. well I guess the word is eccentric when they have money right? But whether the "rockstar developer" thing worked out or not, it's good to see he's still trying to help his creation live on.

I'll live on over here if it's all the same though.
