Indeed they do have "the chops" not only are the working on CO but they also have an unnamed IP they have had in there hands for some time now and it looks like they are going to do STO as well. They are a smaller studio but they do have good experience and a good production reputation thus far in the industry.

I think the better question is: can they make STO a world that does not posses all the horrid features the WoW community supposedly seems to be imposing on developers these days because 10 million people don't know any better? lets hope so! The evidence of that capacity is actuarially in the CoX work. though their are problems with it it's systems and mechanics were very innovative at the time it was launched.

Please, no more levels, and no more innocuous grinding and lets not have a STO that creates the didactic opposition of "hardcore" and "casual"... can't we all just get along (or at least have a MMORPG that does not position us against each other)
