Absolutely, I was very excited about the game and was working on a friend so we could both hit the ground running when it was done. I did not play the beta but have been following the progress of the game. It seems to me this is worth rescuing and could be an investment for someone out there. I hope that's the case. Mythos looked fantastic and like a nice alternative to higher monthly fees for your standard MMO.

It already was an 'instead' game for me. Back before they made the Overworld changes when it was just isometric views, it had sold me on the game, had they released it pre-crafting I would have happily played it, and did. But they kept adding more and more interesting things. Honestly, even in beta the only thing that kept it from being a primary game for me was my friends in other games weren't playing it. Not for lack of me trying to get them and praising Mythos though....

Definitely. I was in the beta and was very unhappy to see it go. I felt it was going to take a good chunk of Diablo III's market share before D3 could be released.

I was going to play the hell out of it.

At least until GW2 came out...

Well, I was going to play Methos now, but I wasn't before they stopped the beta :p

I only payed attention to what the game was about and what it was promising once the news about the collapse started appearing.

I played the beta in the early months and was thoroughly impressed. I stopped b/c I didn't want to invest all this time for someone to pull the plug, guess I felt it coming. Can't be free forever. Good point about taking D3's market share but no matter what I AM PLAYING THAT GAME!!!

I was in the beta as well, and while I didn't believe it was quite ready for going live, I definitely would have played it.

I just hope it comes out of hiatus by the end of next year, and that whomever takes over development doesn't screw it up.

I played Mythos and loved every bit of it especially since the new overworld came out and made it ten times better. The gameplay and subtle humor made it so worth playing. I believe Mythos will be back but in the event that it doesn't then I will never let it out of my heart.

I literally signed up for the beta on the day they announced it was all going bad. Not really being an MMO fan, Mythos seemed to offer exactly the kind of casual, Diablo-like gameplay I was interested in. Ah, well.

Played the beta, was absolutely taken by it.
It was my main game and I am damm sorry to see it go.

I had planned on sticking with it through release and beyond.
I really hope it makes a comeback as it was WORTH playing.
It played well as a single player and just got more fun with a group of friends. Even better that the single or multiplayer was all the same character.
*sigh*
I have my fingers crossed
