Hate to tell ya, but its going to take a year for this game to even be released for selling retail... Right now, AOC is a $15 a month beta test... Thats why everyone is pissed... If it was free, I would even play it... :)

Seconded. Well, I might play it . . . if it was free . . . and probably just until Warhammer or WotLK comes out--if I'm not alting it up on another MMO.

This game should be competing with Dungeon Runners, not a major MMO. *(Dungeon Runners is fun an funny as hell, BTW).

I have Paid to play AOC and I have to say, it is a decent game, fun. But it has so many bugs and issues and its hampered by immature gameplay. It definitely feels like a Beta

I can see myself cutting off my sub for 6-12 months and then returning when most of the bugs have been fixed and its been refined.

It's a shame really because I'm burned out on WoW and I really just want an easy MMO to play (Like Guildwars PVE where the minimap just tells u where to go for quest objectives, its easy).

I don't know that these bugs are any worse than other new MMORPGs. When I think of how different Camelot and Warcraft were a year or so after they launched these patches seem like some minor problems.

I quit because of content, not bugs.

I'm really enjoying it still (I'm level 42, but have been playing since launch). I think with the updates they've improved the general feel and polish of the game a lot since launch. I know they probably could have done with a few more months in development but then they would have been releasing at the same time as Warhammer Online.

In theory I would take a break from the game and resubscribe in a few months once they have more updates, but in practice there's still a lot of content I haven't tried yet and stuff to see, so I don't see myself quitting anytime soon. I would also feel guilty doing that, as I think it's in my own interest to keep subscribing since that's doing my part to ensure that they still have the budget to make major improvements to the game.
