lol... The game has already failed, Funcom's stock prices have almost bottomed out... Thats what they get for promising the world and then giving the customers nothing... Yea it sold alot but the pathetic customer support along with the crappy gameplay and the bugs made the game die... They want us to pay $15 a month for a game that should be in alpha testing... They released the game a year earlier than when it was suppose to be released and they screwed it up bad...

Sorry Funcom, you lose...

Funcom's stock prices have almost bottomed out?

As one of the small stock holders of Funcom I can tell you that this is not true at all. Funcom doing better them ever there stuck gone up 25% just in the last 2 months. AoC did not failed at all its a best seller beating The Sims and WoW from the nr1 spot in US sale carts, And may become the best selling PC game. Thanks to the price tag of the box and the sales will go even more up now they add the download on there site.

It really does not matter that the game for me as gamer is a disappointment but it is a hit PC game even if everyone choose not to pay the 15 dollar feeds. Oh and the lates numbers show that more them 65% of the people that buy the box will indeed renew for a other month.

So Funcom is no flagship and AoC is far from doomed.

Just for the record WoW was almost unplayable for almost 3/4 months after release!

Small note:
The GC is held at "Leipzig".

I've never played the game myself but heard tons of people complaining about the sometimes (or more often?) bad performance of the game - in my opinion they should target to improve DX9 performance first and just ignore DX10 for at least half a year until the worst problems are solved (if they can be solved at all). Even people running a DX10 card unter Vista should prefer that. If they don't and instead want even better graphics with even less performance, I just couldn't understand them at all.
