Thanks for the feedback. ATM, I'm a bit burnt on WowPlot (not getting a lot of feedback doesn't help especially what I perceived to be a really neat idea) after the initial coding frenzy.
The resetting-position on zoom is an OS-bug I can't do much about (but it is annoying as heck) and I haven't found a work-around yet.
Allowing certain presets (e.g. split by all raid-members or so) should be quite easy to do, but I haven't gathered enough information on what sort of things people want to be looking at / want presets for.
I also plan on doing some form of fight splitting akin to WWS so you don't have to look at an overly long timeline to find stuff, but I'm not quite sure yet how I'll implement it.

The current version (0.1.2) now works for WoW 2.4.3 combat logs (at least the ones I had for testing), and contains a new feature that allows you to automatically create new plots when splitting (by holding the Alt-/Modifier-key)).
