You know, orichalcum was in Titan Quest, several Final Fantasy games and many other games long before Age of Conan. adamantite technicially does 'not' originate in WoW and has been in almost every single final fantasy game to date.

Your wrong about electrum, it is a natural occuring alloy with gold, silver, and copper. It has a small amount of copper, but it is not electrum without the copper.

Otherwise the article was very good and I thought the part about true silver and Mithril was very interesting. Also, adamentitem ademenenten and all random variations on that theme spawn from the word adamant, which can be used to describe anything hard. And, adamantite (very many different spellings) is very common in several games.

Another thing you might want to add is ferrite, which is sometimes used in older game as an alternative to represent iron. I think it comes from a french word for iron.
