I keep meaning to give this a shot, thanks for the heads up on it going live.

I installed this a few days ago, and was very excited to give it a whirl. I considered a six-month subscription, as well, but I was immediately turned off by the fact that they wipe the slate clean every two months. That's right--every two months they wipe out all of your towns and research and such. It's their way of keeping things balanced for new players. I guess that makes some sense. The DO let you keep your dreamlord and any of his/her equipment, but I had lost all interest at that point. For me the draw to the game was the MMORTS, the fact that my "empire" would get built up and continue to grow. It was pretty, though, and it was deep, and it certainly seemed interesting.

Wow that's a strange thing. Seems to me a mix of player interests should be different servers with different rules. Like one that wipes every two months like you said and one the does not.

I'm absolutely horrible at RTS games so I usually have no interest in them. I hope they do well, hate to see anything fail.
