We've seen lots of retained spell effects and other anomalies from Age of Conan thus far, but today's version is something new. This was sent in to us by Shujaa from the Bitter Souls guild on the Dagoth server, who describes this as the "California Raisin" shot. Here's what he had to say about the above weirdness:
I call this picture the "California Raisin," simply because I am playing AoC in California and after what happened, I looked like a raisin on 2 legs. But let me explain what happened....
I was questing in one of the Villas in the Tarantia Noble District and pulled one too many mobs, 2 of them being casters. [A]fter about 10 seconds, I found myself on the receiving end of a very nasty fire-based Fatality. When I rezzed at the entrance to the Villa, my character model retained the "Summer BBQ Rib" look throughout the rest of my play session. Safe to say I had a good time running around town looking like a medieval California Raisin!
Do you have any strange, funny, or otherwise off the wall screenshots you've taken in your favorite games? No? Well, snag some screenshots from your favorite game anyway and send those in! We're looking for lots more submissions -- and with summer here, we know more folks are playing! Send them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com, and be sure to tell us about what we're seeing in the screenshots. Yours could be next!

Fatalities still showing after death are a hilarious bug however. I got one a few days ago that made my Tempest of Set turn from a black man to white as an albino. XD

I've also had this happen with lightning spells (my toon turned into a bad lightning desktop wallpaper) and frost spells (white, white, white, with a slight blue tinge).
At work, so no screenshots readily available at the moment.
