I really hope they make a Harry Potter MMO. I'm sure it won't be as awesome as I'd like it to be, what with such a deep magical system that brings the hoaky, ie hoax, magic of the world today into a fantasy setting to come to virtual life. You know, you got latin, a spoken language that was derived from runes (not irl), that is used for spells. Runes could be connected to the magical power of numbers, ie numerology, or in HP, Arithmancy. Mix arithmancy with angles, like in astronomy, and you get astrology. So for instance, Voldemort was born at the right place at the right time when the stars were aligned to give him an affinity for the killing curse. This is one example of just how cool the magical system could be, with family strengths and weaknesses, and personal challenges (rather than static quests), decided by this astrological/numerological system. That's just the tip of the iceberg, but it's probably not something you'll see in a mainstream MMO.

I'm sure if an HP MMORPG is made, but not like how I stated above, I'm sure it will still be fun to play. There is so much to do at Hogwarts, and Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. I doubt that we'll be let down.

Great podcast as usual. Keep up the good work!

While I laughed at the comments over playing with XBL kids (I only game with adults myself for just that reason) it also continues to show a blatant misunderstanding of how console MMO's work, particularly on the 360. You're not using XBL at all, you're being connected to a real server for the MMO just like you are on the PC.
