We don't really know what to tell you about today's One Shot, save that we've never actually seen this occur in EVE Online to date (although we'd bet some of our columnists have) but the idea of deploying a bunch of cans in such an order as to create "can art" is a pretty cool one to us. Today's screenshot comes from Knt who says "This picture is quite a bit old [but is] a prime example of EVE's "can art." We can only imagine the time involved!
Do you have some other examples of EVE "can art"? Perhaps you know someone who did something similar using dropped items, or corpses? Whatever the case, we'd love to see it! Just send those screenshots to us at oneshots AT massively.com!

Yikes, be prepared for hot leaded Dev ire on this one... The DB Dev HATES can art as it causes system lag.

Okay, how about if anyone has more screens of -old- can art? ;)

The Shark was created by a character named Hinik for a corp named Sharks With Frickin' Laser Beams. He did the whole thing using only 2 of his own accounts (one to look at it from a distance and one to anchor the cans). Months after he completed it, it was vandalized and the shark's head was replaced with a very poorly constructed pac-man. Viva la shark!

Goonfleet's Shrike Titan memorial should qualify. Although it's just in the shape a big space dong.

I remember when some alts (I think they were EVE Uni, actually) started taking out the cans, and almost got their whole corp annihilated by the angry Sharks (myself included, at that time).

that was me! :)
hmm, if I remember correctly it took me about 12 hours... of total boredom.
I got petitioned for it at somepoint, and with the recent patch that came in, it kinda makes this kind of stuff less viable, unless you're happy with it being up for just 30 days.
glad you like it.
