I used to have a macbook and was able to run SL on it just, with all settings to low, now bells an whistles for macusers.

The i upgraded to a macbook Pro, and now i get the shiny and the clouds, but instead i get incredible hang ups that last around 7 to 8 sconds every 5 minutes or so. Means i cant do any serious flying or driving in SL or i end up going off sim without knowing it while i wait for the viewer to regain consciousness.

On the latest RC clients the viewer will hang, but also now will down right crash its ass taking the whole computer operating system down with it making it a no go for running events. But i bet they will still release it like that.

I've lots 3 friends i know because they cant run it anymore on Macbook. I remeber reading somehere that Linden Lab was in discussions with apple about the issue as they themselves had no clue. That was months ago.

That being said, there are some mac users who swear blind that their experience of SL is smoooth.... I just know my experience of SL has never ever been smooth.

Its a Blag!

Yeah, there's something really wonky with the MBPros and SL.

Kinda makes me glad I run the crap 'book.
