Funcom did not release that the early access program was in limited supply. It was not on any of the websites nor the information I received from Gamestop.

They made a large number of pre-order sales due to a feature that was not advertised as being in limited supply. The reasons why the limit was in place is not why most people are upset; they are upset because they didn't know it even existed.

Also, I just called my local Gamestop and they were not told about the limit until today. A friend who purchased from Best Buy said they were not informed about the limit either.

just to verify what the above poster said, went into EB games today to check out there used xbox games and the clerk tried to sell me the preorder and stated that "You get to get a head start on other players!". I told him I already bought it the other day and that they are no longer letting anyone new into the early start. He gave me a glassy eyed stare, looked it up online, then told me he had sold probably 15 preorders today with the same sales pitch. Funcom has always had issues with communication to the vendors.

I'll tell you what really chaps my a**, I placed my preorder online with Gamestop in advance, called multiple times hoping to get my preorder key to sign up for EA and each time told "We can't do that you'll have your code via email within 48 hours", meanwhile their retail locations are handing them out like Halloween candy. Comes May 14'th, I receive my preorder code in my inbox that NIGHT. Needless to say it was sold out EARLY that day. Tell me you wouldnt be a wee CHEESED off if you were in my shoes.

Well folks, Failcom finally banned me, GREAT! Becasue maybe enough folks were listening to me and CANCELING their subscriptions and returning the game for REFUNDS!

They lied to all of us with misleading advertising about getting into the EA if you pre-ordered the game. There was NEVER any disclaimer (or fine print) on the Gamestop website months ago when I pre-ordered. That verbage did not appear until I got the E-Mail key code from GS on April 25th to enter into the EA. And the EA seems it was already closed by the time many of us went to register on the 14th as per the E-Mail which stated "no earlier than May 14th"!

I did not need this game, nor was I all that interested in it. But, I WAS willing to give it a chance, until they screwed me (and thousands of others)! And so in essence, they may well have screwed what could have been a solid base of players for their game. And considering the abscence of any customer support from them, this only solidifies in my mind, how the future of this game will be like = dismal at best!

I notice in another article on here, that Failcom is "packing" their numbers of games sold. They are trying to put a spin on their game and say they out-sold WoW when it first came out. What a crock!

Folks, VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET! Let Failcom finally begin to hear your legitimate gripes by speaking with your money! BOYCOT THIS GAME, and try to get a refund in any way you can!
