Ow! One of my characters runs on a panther machine and I shudder at upgrading to tiger because it might make one of my programs unusable.

I say before they drop Panther they need to fix the Leopard bugs. I am currently refusing to log on due to a bug that causes Leopard to crash upon quitting the Second Life viewer.

So ... maybe they should put in a plug-in that lets others vote if a comment is off topic. I'd love to see the trolling over that. The comment system cap is lame. They would to better to allow each post have it's own forum topic automagically generated with each post. They have way too many comments for a blog framework to be comprehensible.

My guess is that only a very small minority of those 34,000 users actually signed in within the past week or month. I have a Mac, but I don't use it for Second Life. Heck, it's a bit too old for it as well.

When they say "dropping support" for 0.25 % how could they be investing much time to keep the support.... why not just put .25% effort into keeping it for the panther users?
