Given Funcoms previous history and claims of a "magic patch" for Anarchy online, and the resultant disaster that followed, and also the current unreadiness in a product that has gone gold already I personally think this article is doing a disservice to readers of the site by not being more critical and asking hard questions.
At the very least given the quality evidenced you should be telling your readers to hold off for a month and see what people who actually buy it say.
I love MMO's but the only way were gonna stop getting unready product released is if unready product releases flop as they should.

I agree that the launch of AO was a disaster. And if this news was just coming from Funcom, I'd be much more critical.

That said, I trust Keen and Bildo. They're pretty dependable sources and both have reported that the closed beta is significantly more stable.

I still think AoC is probably in for a rocky launch, but this at least gives us hope it won't be quite as catastrophic as we've feared. I could be wrong though; it could be a disaster. We'll see in a couple weeks, eh?
