The problem comes when designers ask for feedback, are given massive amounts of it, and ignore it completely.

Especially when the feedback was all pretty spot on about what needs to be done to fix something and the designers answer is both worthless and in some cases makes things worse.

When asking for something everyone else has been given is somehow too much, yet also having your own strengths taken away and given to others it smells bad.

Designers are supposed to give a semblance of caring. Most do. Some are more than fine to ignore a percentage of their player base that keeps shrinking because of how they have hurt their class.
